Be careful with Praise

Compliments are one of the dangers of the tongue. In some ways a compliment prohibited and unlawful. There are six danger praise, four hazards are on the praise and self harm were two people who praised or one who hears a compliment.1. The first danger is there in the flatterer is a lie.In the case of exaggeration, the act was generally tends to fall into the lie. Khalid bin Mi'dan said, "Whoever praises in front of crowds of a ruler or a person who actually did not have qualities such as praise, then God will resurrect the person is difficult to speak because his tongue when the Day of Judgement."
2. Riya. The second danger in self-praise those who praise is riya. Sometimes love is expressed by love of praise, but it does not seep into the hearts and the flatterer not feel confident in every speech.
Thus he became the man who riya
3. People who praised sometimes do not know whether they have such qualities are praised it or not. It is reported that one day someone praise others in front of the Prophet Muhammad.Hear the compliment, he then said to the people who praise: "You have cut the neck of your brother. Had he heard the compliment, he will not earn salvation (good luck). "Then he said, "If you want to praise someone should say," I know him so or he is so. Allah is the one who is aware of whether that person is truly holy or dirty. I can not say too much about what God is to know about someone. "So if we say someone is a pious, devout, generous, is dangerous. Once 'Umar saw someone praising another person. Then he said to the flatterer, "Have you ever traveled with him? "He said," not yet! "'Umar asked, "Are you the neighbors all morning and evening?". He replied again, "No". Umar further said, "By Allah, I think you do not know him."
4. People who praise may be a penzalim and / or a wicked (people who used to perform immoral and a grave sin). Praising those who do wrong or evil in such cases is not justified or not kosher.
Prophet Muhammad has said, "Verily, Allah will rage when she heard a wicked in praise.Hasan Al-Basri said, "Whoever has someone praying for a long life unjustly, then he has committed sin to God in the world '
5. People will get two dangers touted as praise given to him.Praising it can lead to arrogance and pride in this person who is praised. The two things that can ruin and destroy myself a person praised.

6. The second danger when someone praised the people who praised became very excited and feel flattered by it (ie: felt he was good). Due to the person praised is leaving the effort to improve themselves because they think he has reached the peak of goodness and progress.
People who realized that he still has weaknesses and shortcomings will undoubtedly continue to strive to improve themselves, improve their behavior and ruqyah.Hence the Prophet denounced those who praise others with his saying, "You have cut your friend's neck. If he heard it and admit it, then he will not earn salvation (with pride himself that) "
In another hadith he said, "If you praise someone in front, imagine that you miss the middle of a sharp knife (cut) neck." Another word of Allah, "it's better to attack someone with a sharp sword than praise in front".
If the people who praised and commended those who survived the dangers of this, the praise is not prohibited, is, therefore, the Prophet often praised his companions. He said about Abu Bakr RA, "If the Iman of Abu Bakr were weighed with the faith of people around the world, then his faith is more severe."About Umar RA, he has said: "Had I not been sent as a prophet, Umarlah which will be sent as a prophet"With this praise, the companions do not necessarily become proud and arrogant but has made them humble.
Word of the Prophet SAW: "I am the leader and ruler of Bani Adam and there is no arrogance in this." In other words, he said the statement was not about to brag like that spoken by most people.
When one day he heard the crowd praising a man who died, he said: "He is entitled to receive such praise.
RA Mujahid said: "For all Children of Adam is a friend of the angels. If a Muslim say anything about whether other Muslim charities, the angels will say: "O Children of Adam, keep secret among ragasia-secret, still pleased with what you have, and praise your Lord who has been keeping secret things that the secret to yourself "

OBLIGATION TO person praised
People who are in praise must save themselves from a sense of pride, arrogance, conceit and laziness to improve themselves. A person will not be able to save yourself from crime when not realize the ultimate goal and result of all his deeds.
Prophet once said: "Throw the dust near, those who praise"
A scholar, Sufyan bin 'Uyainah said, "People who really know themselves are not likely to be affected by the praise."When a devout praised by many people she will say: "O servants of God came to me with a hatred-MU".Other godly in praise of a crowd, so she said, "Oh God they did not know about me."One day Ali KW praised, then he said, "O Allah, forgive me for what they say. Make me better than what they say about me. "
Someone praising Umar RA that, when he heard the compliment saying, "You are destroying the middle of me"
